Pink and Black Fondant Cake

 

 

This Cake was made for a sweet friend for her surprise Birthday party. Her sister and mom ordered the cake and asked for it to be some bright colors and flowers. I just love it when I can run with an idea and create. The cake was chocolate and vanilla with vanilla butter-cream icing.

 

Handmade the fondant flowers in forming strips so the flowers had dimension and would set off the cake. Placed peal sprinkles in the middle of the flowers. The white on the flower on the top was powder sugar, I forgot to take a picture at the end!

Holiday Teacher appreciation cake pops for the kids school. Chocolate cake with Candy Coated covering topped with crushed Candy Canes. Printed out thank you tags for each pop.

cake pops are delicious balls of cake & frosting mixed together, placed on a stick, dipped in chocolate, and custom decorated to fit any occasion.

First time ever piping on cake pops and doing it quickly to leave for a party hence the mistakes and lack of consistency. It was nice to practice and I must admit they were very good. They were covered in milk chocolate and then double dipped in candy melts.
